Role Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced General Medicine Consultant to join our team. As a key member of the medical team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting with acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and clinical rounds to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic investigations.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on evidence-based practice guidelines and best practices.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, providing clinical guidance, teaching, and support as needed.
  • Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research projects to enhance patient care and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution and GMC registration with a license to practice in the UK.
  • Completion of speciality training in General Medicine and attainment of CCT or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in managing a wide range of medical conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Strong clinical acumen, diagnostic skills, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
