Requirements:
  • Full GMC Licence to Practice
  • Right to work in the UK with a minimum of 6 months UK experience
  • Accredited status in Psychiatry
  • Section 12 approval (Desirable)
  • Previous experience working in Eating Disorders services
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of patients with eating disorders, evaluating their physical and mental health status, history, and symptoms
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
  • Monitor and adjust treatment interventions as necessary, providing ongoing support and psychoeducation to patients and their families
  • Participate in clinical governance activities, including audits and quality improvement initiatives, to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes
