Requirements:
- Full GMC Licence to Practice
- Right to work in the UK with a minimum of 6 months UK experience
- Accredited status in Psychiatry
- Section 12 approval (Desirable)
- Previous experience working in Eating Disorders services
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments of patients with eating disorders, including an evaluation of their physical and mental health status, history, and symptoms
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, incorporating a multidisciplinary approach to care
- Provide ongoing monitoring and adjustment of treatment interventions, ensuring patient progress and safety
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including dietitians, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient outcomes
- Offer psychoeducation and support to patients and their families, empowering them to understand and manage the challenges associated with eating disorders
- Participate in clinical governance activities, including audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives, to enhance service delivery and patient care
