The Safe & Connected Service (formerly Community Alarm Service) offers a 24/7 365 days a week emergency service to elderly and vulnerable customers. The team are the first point of contact for customers who raise an emergency alert using specialist Telecare call handling equipment to resolve any problems and reducing any risk presented by the caller.

The team are responsible for the installation and maintenance of connected Telecare equipment in the borough .Additionally the service monitors the boroughs dedicated Safeguarding Adults line and is the first point of contact for those wanting to report possible cases of Adult Abuse.


You will need to be self-motivating with the ability to make complex decision. Be able to demonstrate the ability to develop the knowledge and skills required to monitor and respond to critical calls within a Telecare Control Centre environment
