Responsibility for managing a team, ensuring that children, young people, carers, and families receive first class specialist assessments and timely support to meet their needs and identify/manage risk Supporting the Service Manager in the development, delivery and review of services for children, young people, their families and carers so that Oxfordshire’s vulnerable children are protected from significant harm, their life chances are maximised and that looked after children are placed in high quality placements with carers who are trained and well supported to meet their needs. Coordinate support packages for young people towards positive independent placements through the supported housing pathway where required. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that all relevant County policies and procedures are adhered to and concerns are raised in accordance with these policies. To take full responsibility for the Management of Family Support Workers who work as part of the team including recruitment, retention, staff development and H&S.
