Discipline
An exciting opportunity has arisen for individuals to work as a Social Worker from the point of referral, undertaking assessment, through to providing support and intervention with the child and their family, to an ending whereby the family no longer require our intervention. This is a great time to join Swindon Borough Council as a Social Worker, where we have innovative projects like Social Workers in Schools and Family Safeguarding, being implemented.
This is an innovative pilot in Children’s Services; working collaboratively with partner agencies. Swindon Borough Council is rated as ‘good’ in its last Ofsted Inspection in 2019. We aspire to offer children and their families fewer changes in Social Worker for the duration of the child’s journey.
At Swindon Borough Council we are committed to our children and young people and we are passionate about how we deliver services to them.
