Safeguarding Social worker
Experienced social workers required to join the safeguarding team. Previous adult social work experience essential.
The social workers must be able to work fairly independent and as part of a team, be able to complete robust risk management assessments and interim protection plans, incorporate MSP practice into their Sec.42 work, be proportionate in their approach, place the vulnerable adult and their desired outcomes at the centre of their work and be confident in their decision making with regard the progression of the Sec 42 (1) work and Sec 42 (2) enquires.
The social workers must work within the standards and domains Social Work England and Professional Capabilities Framework and be experienced in the application of the relevant legislation and agency policy and procedures to underpin practice i.e. Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Safeguarding Adults.
A one-week period of intensive induction to the ERYC safeguarding team and systems/processes will be provided.
