You will work in a supportive team that leads the local authority response to safeguarding adults concerns. The successful applicant will, under the supervision of the safeguarding adults manager and senior safeguarding adults officers, coordinate the local authority response to safeguarding adults concerns through making S.42(1) decisions and undertaking S.42(2) safeguarding adults enquiries.
Experience in safeguarding adults work is essential although this may have been gained through student placements. You will receive support to develop the skills to become an expert in this area of work.
