The Redbridge Child Protection and Assessment Team (R&A) Service are looking for 2 experienced R&A Senior Social Workers. The right candidate is required to have a minimum of three years relevant experience, in R and A. These are additional posts to support the service to bring down case loads, therefore the candidates must have the experience of R&A SW in order to be appropriate appointments. The SSW will undertake Child and Family Assessments, S47 inquiries, write ICPC reports and initial court statements, viability assessments, age assessments and CIN plans. Candidates will be on duty one week in six, candidates must come into the office both on duty weeks and non duty weeks, there is some working from home flexibility but it is not the default position. Please do not submit candidates who are not willing to come into the office they will not be offered an interview. Workers must be prepared as senior workers to be on standby to support as and when required. Cases require face to face visits This is not a step up opportunity and step ups will not be considered. Starts are immediate and up to 2 weeks maximum, please do not submit candidates who have notice periods longer then 2 weeks. For the right candidate Redbridge CPAT Service is a well resourced, well supported service. We have clear processes, procedures, there is good managerial support and oversight, regular supervision and training is accessible and offered to locum workers as well as permanent workers.
