Position Overview: As a Paediatrics and Neonates Registrar, you will play a vital role in the care and treatment of pediatric patients, including newborns and neonates. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible care to the youngest and most vulnerable patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose pediatric patients, from newborns to adolescents, and create appropriate treatment plans.
  • Assist in the management of neonates in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and pediatric inpatient wards.
  • Collaborate closely with pediatric consultants, nurses, and support staff to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in pediatric clinics, case discussions, and departmental meetings.
  • Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Medical degree and full registration with the UK Medical Board.
  • Previous experience in a paediatrics and neonates role or equivalent training.
