Position Overview: As a Paediatrics and Neonates Registrar, you will play a vital role in the care and treatment of pediatric patients, including newborns and neonates. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible care to the youngest and most vulnerable patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose pediatric patients, from newborns to adolescents, and create appropriate treatment plans.
- Assist in the management of neonates in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and pediatric inpatient wards.
- Collaborate closely with pediatric consultants, nurses, and support staff to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in pediatric clinics, case discussions, and departmental meetings.
- Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Medical degree and full registration with the UK Medical Board.
- Previous experience in a paediatrics and neonates role or equivalent training.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a patient-centered approach.
