Position Overview: As a Paediatrics and Neonates Consultant, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of pediatric patients, including newborns and neonates. Your expertise in pediatric and neonatal care will contribute to enhancing the well-being of the youngest and most vulnerable patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnoses for pediatric patients, from newborns to adolescents.
  • Manage and oversee the care of neonates in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and pediatric inpatient wards.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address a wide range of pediatric medical conditions and illnesses.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including paediatricians, nurses, and support staff.
  • Participate in pediatric clinics, case discussions, and departmental meetings.
  • Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients' families during their children's hospital stay.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Medical degree and full registration with the UK Medical Board.
  • Previous experience as a Paediatrics and Neonates Consultant with expertise in pediatric and neonatal care principles and clinical protocols.
