The Complex Disability Team is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated locum Occupational Therapist within the Just Enough Support Intermediate Care Fund Project.
The Complex Disability Team is a multidisciplinary team with social and health care professionals who are co-located and work with adults who have a Learning Disability, Autism or Acquired Brain Injury. Supervision and professional support is provided by a senior occupational therapist.
The role of the Occupational Therapist will be to complete a functional skills assessment of occupational performance, with a view to co-producing an outcome based progression focused care plan to achieve more independent living which can be implemented by support staff. e.g. cooking, travel training and budgeting money. The post holder will work in partnership with a small team of Progression Support Workers to support the implementation of the care plan.
The role will also include contributing to the reporting outcomes to Welsh Government
A Professional Qualification in Occupational Therapy and HPC registration is essential.
This post is for 3 months at this moment in time but may be longer.
