Day Webster Education are currently working with a lovely mainstream primary school based in Barnet who are looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant.


The position is to start September 2020 on a long term position so commitment is key.


About the role:
  • Provide general classroom support to the Teacher
  • Provide feedback, when necessary, to parents and Teacher regarding the progress of their children
  • Support both 1:1 and as a general teaching assistant
  • Working as part of the reception team with a class teacher
 


Person Specification

 

This position would suit someone with a Minimum of 1 year experience as a KS2 Teaching Assistant or someone with a Degree in Education. The school are looking to recruit someone who has a calm and easy presence in the classroom, using their experience and skills to remain in control and keep pupils learning well.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Must be available to interview immediately
