Position Overview: As a Gynaecology and Obstetrics Consultant, you will assume a pivotal role in providing expert care to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and gynaecological health assessments. Your clinical excellence in obstetrics and gynaecology will contribute to safe deliveries, accurate diagnoses, and improved women's health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the gynaecology and obstetrics services, specializing in pregnancy management, childbirth, and gynaecological procedures.
  • Provide antenatal and postnatal care to expectant mothers, ensuring the well-being of both mother and baby.
  • Conduct deliveries, including both vaginal and cesarean section deliveries, ensuring the safety and health of the mother and newborn.
  • Diagnose and treat various gynaecological conditions and perform surgical procedures when necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including midwives, nurses, and neonatal specialists.
  • Participate actively in gynaecology and obstetrics clinics, case discussions, and departmental meetings.
  • Maintain meticulous and comprehensive medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Medical degree and full registration with the UK Medical Board.
  • Completion of specialized training in Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
  • Substantial experience as a Consultant specializing in Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
  • Profound knowledge of obstetric care, gynaecological procedures, and surgical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a patient-centered approach.
