Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Chronic Pain Consultant to join our esteemed team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in providing specialized care for patients living with chronic pain, contributing to advancements in pain management, and improving the quality of life for those you serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical care and consultation in Chronic Pain Management.
- Assess and manage patients with chronic pain conditions, tailoring treatment plans to individual needs.
- Perform interventional pain procedures, including epidural injections and nerve blocks.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
- Mentor and guide junior medical staff.
- Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Medical degree and full GMC registration.
- CCT or equivalent in Pain Medicine or Anaesthetics with subspecialty training in Chronic Pain Management.
- Extensive experience as a Consultant in Chronic Pain Management.
- Proficiency in interventional pain procedures.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
