To assist the Team Manager to manage the social work team and the service they provide to ensure improved outcomes for children and young people within the scope of the team, legislative and regulatory frameworks and within agreed performance indicators, deputising in the absence of the Team Manager.

The team manage child in need, child protection and child in care cases.
