Position Overview: As an A&E Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within the fast-paced and dynamic environment of the Emergency Department. Your expertise, compassion, and dedication will contribute to efficient patient management and optimal healthcare outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, triage, and provide nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as per protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, response to treatment, and changes in condition.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
- Assist in the maintenance of equipment and supplies, ensuring the readiness of the department.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with full registration and licensure in the UK.
- Significant experience working as an A&E Nurse.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong clinical and assessment skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Commitment to maintaining high clinical standards and participating in professional development.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
