Clinical Lead, Esievo Atete, a Southampton Nurse shortlisted for 2023 Nursing Times Award

A Southampton Nurse Esievo Atete a Clinical Lead in Southampton Care Home has been nominated in the “Rising Star” category at this year’s Nursing Times Awards 2023.
The Rising Star Award is intended to recongise the nursing community, educate, and acknowledge those making the nursing community inclusive and patient-focused.
Mr Atete has been commended, for providing strong clinical leadership for Carpathia Grange. These leadership skills have been demonstrated by coaching, educating, and mentoring team members to ensure the home continues to provide high-quality services for residents. Esievo was also praised for being a role model and a good influence in the community. Esievo expressed he has ongoing care and an understanding of pre-registered nurses in the UK as he knows firsthand how unique and challenging the experience can be.
The home also known as Carpathia Grange is a three-story care home that provides nursing and residential care. The care home also includes en-suite bedrooms as well as rooms for leisure activities.
The care home manager said “We are thrilled to see Esievo shortlisted for this prestigious award. He is extremely passionate about residents and ensuring that those with additional needs are cared for in the best way possible. He is a force to be reckoned with, bringing a unique blend of expertise and skills in the care sector, inspiring others to raise the bar too – we are so lucky to have him and wish him luck from all of us at Carpathia Grange for the awards in October!”
